I'm Sue, 31 years old; I am married with two children Jenna (3) and Ethan (almost 2). Having only moved to the UK in Feb 08 and Glossop,Sept 08, I am grateful to have found Ladies Circle as it is proving to be just what I need, some time for myself, a chance to meet other people and hopefully make new friendships for life.
Having just joined Circle I am looking forward to the year ahead.

I'm Kelly, and at 30 I'm the youngest member of Glossop Ladies Circle (at the moment!). I have been a member for the past 18 months, and it's a great opportunity for me to have some 'time out' from my two young children, Joseph (4) and Grace (2).
Over the past year, I have enjoyed many different social activities, have started to build lots of new friendships, and I really enjoyed going white water rafting in Wales. Circle has been an excellent way for me to meet new people and build on my social life!!

I`m Charlotte 35 Years old, married to Allan, 42 years old, three kids: Emma & Frederik are nearly 6 and Sebastian is 14 years old.
My family and I moved to the UK march 2003 from Denmark. I have been in Circle for 4.5 years. I like running, the gym, playing games, reading, trying new activities and spending time with my family.
I think joining circle was the best social move I have ever done, as it was a great way for me to meet other women, and also get involved in something meaningful.

I'm Karen and I am 45 years old, so this is my last year in Circle. I live in Hollingworth with husband Russell, and Bethan (14) and Laurence (12). I run my own small embroidery business which is based in Hollingworth.
I joined Ladies Circle many years ago when I was 29 years old and we were living in Neath in South Wales. A few years later we moved to Wolverhampton and then again to Ashton, and as we've moved I've transferred Circles.
It is great from that point of view, because wherever you go there is almost a ready-made circle (no pun intended!) of friends ready to welcome you to meetings.
The children also benefit from Circle. They make new friends and enjoy the various activities throughout the year.
Like many things in life, you get out of Circle what you are prepared to put in. For me, it strikes the perfect balance – two evenings a month 'me time', away from husband and kids, but then there are also plenty of opportunities to socialise as couples and also as families. Come along and give it a go – I'm sure you won't regret it!
